New Delhi, March 11 -- Parliament resumed its second leg of Budget Session with a massive confrontation between the Centre and the Opposition over the implementation of National Education Policy (NEP) in Tamil Nadu (TN), instigating a fresh round of language row.

Face-off was also witnessed in the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha over alleged discrepancies in voter lists leading to several adjournments. At one point, Speaker Om Birla cautioned the Opposition to either to fall in line or face strict action.
