Bhopal, Oct. 4 -- Lakecity Football Club won the Bhopal Football league today beating Hazrat Nizamuddin FC by 3 goals to none. First time entrant in the league, Lakecity FC bested an established HNFC in the final of the Bhopal League 2022, premier soccer tournament on Monday in Bhopal.
Sealed with stunning brace by Prashant Thapa and a goal by Nikhil Patil, Lakecity FC took the podium.
Cheered by an excited and large crowd of fans, Lakecity FC has played an exciting and attacking brand of soccer in this season and had swamped past the last year winner Bade Maharaj in the semi-finals.
