Bhopal, June 11 -- A case of attempted religious conversion has come to light in the Sukhisewania police station area, where a labourer was allegedly lured with financial incentives and business promises in exchange for converting to Christianity. The accused, Kaluram Gond, has been arrested following a complaint from the victim, Anil Kushwaha, a daily-wage laborer residing in the area.
According to the police, Anil Kushwaha was approached by Kaluram Gond, a former acquaintance who works in the furniture business. Kaluram allegedly offered Anil Rs 50,000 and promised to set up a grocery shop for him, contingent upon his conversion to Christianity.
