BHUBANESWAR, Oct. 24 -- An Indian Police Service (IPS) officer was on Wednesday appointed as the Special Secretary to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
The 1997-batch officer Dhirendra Sambhaji Kutey is currently posted as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Chief Minister. This is the first time that an IPS officer is appointed as a Special Secretary to the CM.
