Jabalpur, May 6 -- Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that great heroes like Raja Hriday Shah, Raja Shankar Shah, Kunwar Raghunath Shah, Rani Durgavati, Birsa Munda, and Tantya Mama fought with pride, dignity, and valor for the country's freedom. They stood up to protect water, land, forests, and their identity. These tribal legends of our state and country have made us proud. In their honor, Krantisurya Tantya Mama University has been established in Khargone, he added.
Yadav was addressing the two-day "Aadi Utsav" at Ramnagar in Mandla on Monday. He visited the Moti Mahal built by Hriday Shah and inaugurated a folk art exhibition. He also laid the foundation and inaugurated development works worth Rs. 61 crore.
