New Delhi, Feb. 18 -- The motion of confidence moved by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the Delhi Assembly on Friday was passed by a voice vote, with 54 of the AAP's 62 MLAs present during the voting. Apart from dissent from Leader of Opposition Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, the vote of confidence was passed with the support of 54 AAP MLAs, including the Chief Minister. The remaining seven BJP MLAs were under suspension. This is the second time in the past two years that the Arvind Kejriwal Government has sought a trust vote. The AAP has 62 MLAs in the 70-member Assembly, and the BJP has eight.
