NEW DELHI, Oct. 24 -- Welcoming the Union Government's decision to regularise unauthorised colonies in the national Capital, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said the Centre should speed up the process.

Soon after the announcement made by the Union Cabinet, Kejriwal said the road map for the regularisation of 1,797 colonies was based on a proposal sent by the Delhi Government in July month.

"The Centre has taken an important decision, it was a long pending decision and there should be no further delay," Kejriwal said.
