Jammu, June 6 -- The Vande Bharat train service between Katra and Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir will start commercial operations from June 7, the Northern Railway said on Thursday. In Jammu, Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that regular train services connecting Jammu and Srinagar will commence from September 2025, following the completion of ongoing construction work at the Jammu railway station. According to Northern Railway, two Vande Bharat train sets will make four trips during the day between Katra and Srinagar.
