Bhopal, April 11 -- Corrugated safety barriers along the metro construction site at Karond will be removed as soon as pillars are installed, Minister Vishwas Sarang said during a site visit on Thursday.
Sarang, who also represents the area in the state assembly, inspected Karond Square with officials from the Metro Corporation, Municipal Corporation, PWD, and Police, directing them to ensure public safety and swift progress.
Work on the 8.77 km Orange Line stretch from Subhash Nagar to Karond has entered a new phase with pillar installation now underway. The barriers will remain until this stage is complete.
