India, July 13 -- Last week's first article about Jyotisha astrology described experiments validating some of its predictions. Although they might best be said to be qualitative experiments, they very clearly demonstrated that their predictions were being accurately followed. They constituted a first scientific validation of Vedic astrology, a preliminary validation. The scientific field was microbiology where microorganisms like cells and bacteria are grown in flasks of various sizes. The validation, though unanticipated by other scientists, was unusual, the 'flasks', being containers for the preparation of veterinary vaccines, were too large to fit into a normal biological teaching laboratory.
