BHUBANESWAR, Nov. 25 -- The State Government on Tuesday said a judicial probes have been ordered into the custodial death allegations reported from Puri and Birmitrapur.
Minister of State for Home Divya Shankar Mishra, while replying to a discussion on the admissibility of an Adjournment Motion on the State's law and order situation, informed the Assembly that both the custodial death allegations are being probed by separate judicial officers.
He said the Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM), Panposh, and the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC), Puri, have been entrusted with the task of investigation into the cases at Birmitrapur and Puri, respectively.
