PURI, Sept. 7 -- The Jagannath Temple Managing Committee (JTMC) on Friday extended its support to the proposed Heritage Corridor near the Jagannath Temple, which is presently in execution amidst protests by land losers.

A meeting chaired by Gajpati Maharaja Dibysingha Deb, in the presence SJTA Chief Krishan Kumar, okayed as many as five proposals, which would be sent to Law Department for approval.

Those include making Badadanda a heritage corridor, development of the temple surrounding areas, beautifications of Gundicha Temple and making Jagannath Balabh Mutt area to a heritage garden.
