ATHAGARH, Nov. 27 -- Jollywood artist Rani Panda miraculously escaped a major accident when her car reportedly made a head-on collision with a motorcycle in Athagarh in Cuttack district on Friday night.
However, the motorcyclist died in the mishap. The deceased was identified as Sukant Behera, 28, a resident of Rajanagar village under the Athagarh police limits.
The incident occurred at around 10 pm when Rani Panda was returning in her car after attending a wedding event. The car dashed head on with the bike at Dalakhai Chhak under the Athagarh police limits. The motorcyclist, who sustained critical injuries, was rushed to the SCB Hospital in Cuttack, where doctors declared him dead. The front portion of the car was completely damaged.
