Garhwa, Feb. 8 -- A job fair was held in Garhwa on Friday at the Forest Colony ground. Organised by the Garhwa District Employment Office, the fair was part of the Dantpant Thengdi Employment Scheme, run by the Jharkhand Government's Department of Labour Planning, Training and Skill Development.

The fair was opened by the Deputy Commissioner, Shekhar Jamuar, along with other officials, by lighting a lamp.

The District Employment Officer, Neeraj Kumar, said the fair aimed to help educated young people find jobs in private companies. Nineteen companies took part, including Sodexo Corporate, Baba Kamlesh Textile Garhwa, and SIS Limited Belchampa.
