BOKARO, Jan. 31 -- A major irregularity has surfaced in the Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana (JMMMSY) during physical verification. Under Deputy Commissioner Bokaro Vijaya Jadhav's directives, the Social Security Department found that a single IndusInd Bank account was used 94 times under different names across multiple blocks. The fraudulent applications were submitted through CSC operators from Palamu and Kishanganj (Bihar) using three CSC IDs.

Investigations revealed that the account (No. 100253493007) belongs to Sufni Khatun from Uttar Dinajpur, West Bengal, and fake ration card numbers were used. Many applications were filed in bulk on October 31 and November 1, 2024, with fraudulent surnames like Murmu, Hansda, and Mandal....
