Jamshedpur, April 4 -- After the Lok Sabha passed the Waqf (Amendment) Bill 2025, it has triggered a political stir in the State. The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) strongly opposed the bill and voted against it, drawing sharp criticism from former Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Raghubar Das. Addressing a press conference at his Agrico residence on Thursday, Das accused JMM of exposing its "anti-tribal face" by opposing the bill and appealed to the tribal community to socially boycott JMM-Congress MPs.
