Ranchi, June 25 -- Gumla police on Tuesday arrested sub-zonal commander of extremist organisation Jharkhand Jan Mukti Parishad (JJMP), who has a reward of Rs. 5 lakhs on his head. Police have seized a cache of arms and bullets from him.
Gumla SP Harish Bin Zaman said in a press conference that secret information was received that JJMP supremo Rabindra Yadav had arrived with a squad to carry out a major criminal incident in the Ghaghra forest. After getting the information, police became active and immediately a special team was formed under the leadership of SDPO Suresh Prasad Yadav.
