Indore, May 28 -- The Tejaji Nagar Police have registered a case of fraud and criminal intimidation against Bharat Patwari and Nana Patwari, relatives of Madhya Pradesh Congress President Jitu Patwari, and Indore District Congress President Sadashiv Yadav. The complaint was filed by 74-year-old Narendra Mehta, a resident of Mahavir Bagh.
Mehta alleges that on March 29, the accused, along with 15-20 men, forcibly occupied around 6.5 acres of land in village Umri Khedi and evicted him. The land, under survey numbers 1 to 4, was originally granted by the Holkar State in 1939 and purchased by Mehta's father, Navratanmal Jain, in 1950.
