Mhow, Jan. 31 -- Indore District Administration, under the guidance of Collector Ashish Singh, observed Madya Nished Sankalp Diwas on Thursday, promoting awareness about de-addiction and the harmful effects of drug abuse. As part of this initiative, a special awareness program was conducted at Mhow Jail to educate inmates about the dangers of substance abuse.
The session was led by journalist Vikas Tyagi, president of Vikas Vishwa Kalyan Samriddhi Sanstha, a social organization dedicated to spreading awareness on de-addiction. During the program, Tyagi explained the scientific process of how drugs affect the human body, gradually taking control of the mind and eliminating its natural resistance, ultimately leading to addiction.
