Ranchi, June 9 -- A major initiative is being taken in the direction of grooming sports talents in Jharkhand and preparing them at a professional level. The State Government is working on a plan to open Jharkhand's first residential sports school in Khelgaon, Ranchi.
The Directorate of Sports has also prepared a proposal for this. This school will take shape in the coming few years. This sports school will have arrangements for studies from class 6th to 12th and it will be recognized by the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC).
