Ranchi, Feb. 11 -- Seven highly Naxal affected and sensitive districts of Jharkhand have received Rs 52 crore for the financial year 2023-24. This amount has been given under the Special Central Assistance Scheme under the Centrally Sponsored Police Modernization Scheme.

The districts for which this amount has been allocated include Chatra, Giridih, Gumla, Khunti, Chaibasa, Seraikela and Lohardaga districts. Home Ministry had made a plan to provide special central assistance in militancy affected districts.
