Ranchi, Feb. 24 -- Indian archers have waved their flag in the Asia Cup 2025 archery tournament held in Thailand. In this tournament, India performed brilliantly and won a total of 8 medals including 5 gold, 2 silver and one bronze. Out of these, 2 medals have been won by archers from Jharkhand state, including Goldie Mishra of Tata Archery Academy and Vishnu Chaudhary of Karna Archery Academy.
Vishnu Chaudhary won 3 medals in this tournament. First of all, the Indian men's recurve team of Goldie Mishra, Rahul Rahul and Vishnu Chaudhary won the gold medal by defeating China 5-1 in the final. After this, Vishnu also won gold in the individual recurve men's event and defeated Rahul 6-2 in the final.
