Bhopal, March 21 -- The Income Tax Department on Thursday started the survey proceedings at Alankar Jewelers located in New Market of the capital and Golden City Builder's office located at Chunabhatti. In this action started in the afternoon, income tax evasion of crores of rupees is likely to be revealed from both the establishments.
On the other hand, tax evasion of about Rs 15 crore has been found against Saurabh Agarwal, director of Alpha Communication and Alpha Solutions located at Chunabhatti.
In the survey proceedings being conducted by the Income Tax Department on Thursday, action is being taken in the case of hiding the actual price in the sale of gold jewellery at Alankar Jewelers located in New Market.
