Bhopal, April 21 -- The Indian Road Congress (IRC) has nominated Rahul Tiwari of MANIT Bhopal as Technical Member of its G-6 Committee on Multi-Modal Transport Systems.

The committee is responsible for developing policies, plans and guidelines that integrate metros, buses, highways, freight corridors and regional transport into a unified mobility framework.

Tiwari, Assistant Professor at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), is the only scientist from central India to serve on this high-level expert panel.

He is also recognised as a Leader in Urban Transport Planning by the World Bank and is a certified trainer in urban transport for the Government of India.
