India, Jan. 15 -- The Northeast District Narcotics Squad of Delhi Police arrested an interstate drug supplier and recovered 21.7 kg of ganja during a patrolling operation near the Uttar Pradesh border in the Nand Nagri area on Monday afternoon.

The arrest was made around 3.45 pm when a police team spotted a man standing with two black bags on a road leading from Bhopra towards Nand Nagri, behind an MCD school. The suspect appeared nervous on seeing the police and failed to give a clear explanation about the contents of the bags, prompting a search.
