India, Feb. 20 -- Alert troops of the Indian Army's White Knight Corps successfully thwarted an infiltration bid by terrorists along the Line of Control (LoC) in the early hours of Thursday.

According to a statement issued by the Nagrota-based White Knight Corps, based on intelligence inputs and sustained surveillance, the troops detected suspicious movement of terrorists in the general area of Nathua Tibba, Sunderbani sector, in Rajouri district.

"Alert troops responded promptly with calibrated and targeted fire, foiling the infiltration attempt. No casualties were reported on the Indian side, and the intruders were forced to retreat without crossing the border".
