Bhopal, Feb. 2 -- The Indore crime branch seized a large consignment of Alprazolam tablets and Codeine syrup in Bhopal, valued at over Rs 1 crore in the black market. Three accused-Amar Singh, Aman Rawat, and Akash Jain-were arrested for smuggling these illegal drugs since the Covid pandemic to make quick money.
Earlier, Indore residents Moinuddin (Mona) and Chavez were caught with 360 bottles of Codeine syrup, while Jitendra (Jeetu) Yadav was arrested with 1,950 Alprazolam tablets. Interrogations revealed a supply chain linked to Bhopal.
