Bhopal, Jan. 26 -- Indore has achieved another milestone by being designated as a prestigious Wetland City by the Ramsar Convention. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav hailed this recognition as a proud achievement for both the state and the country. He emphasized that this accolade marks a significant moment of pride for Madhya Pradesh. Ramsar, an international organization dedicated to environmental conservation, announced a list of 31 Wetland Cities on Saturday, recognizing urban centers that excel in preserving wetlands while advancing urban development. For the first time, two Indian cities, Indore and Udaipur, have earned a place on this esteemed list.
