India, Dec. 4 -- India's geospatial market, currently valued at '150,000 crore, is poised to double to nearly '1.06 lakh crore by 2030, said Amitabh Kant, IAS, Board Member of L&T, HCL, Indigo and Fairfax, while delivering the keynote on Day 2 of the GeoSmart World Conference & Expo 2025 at Bharat Mandapam.
Kant highlighted India's rapid transformation in the geospatial and space ecosystem, calling the journey "explosive and purpose-driven." He said the projected $ 44-billion space economy by 2033 should propel India to pursue even greater innovation and collaboration.
