India, July 16 -- it's the year 2070. Monsoons are erratic, heatwaves last months, crop yields are halved - and India's economy has bled a staggering $35 trillion due to unchecked climate inaction.

This isn't science fiction. It's a projection from the Deloitte Economics Institute, which warns that if the world warms by 3degC, the Asia-Pacific region could lose $96 trillion, with India bearing more than a third of that burden. Services, manufacturing, tourism, and retail would all take devastating hits. Lives, livelihoods, and legacy wealth - all at stake.
