India, Oct. 30 -- India and China recently held a new round of high-level military discussions aimed at ensuring peace and stability along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh, officials confirmed. The Corps Commander-level meeting, held on October 25 at the Moldo-Chushul border point on the Indian side, marked the first such engagement since August's Special Representatives' talks between National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
