Ranchi, June 28 -- Ever since the onset of the southwest monsoon in Jharkhand on June 17, monsoon has been active across the State. As per the latest prediction, heavy to very heavy showers are expected to occur at various places till the beginning of July.
As per the information shared by the Meteorological Centre, Ranchi on Friday, in the last 24 hours, light to moderate rainfall with thunder occurred at almost all the places in the State while heavy rainfall was also recorded at some places. The highest rainfall was 105 mm which was recorded in Khunti.
