Ranchi, April 2 -- Rain accompanied with thunderstorms and lighting is being predicted for 13 districts across Jharkhand from April 2 onwards and The Meteorological Centre, Ranchi has also issued an orange alert in this regard.

The information shared by The MET Centre, Ranchi stated a warning for the districts of Garhwa, Palamu, Chatra, Koderma, Hazaribag, Latehar, Lohardaga, Ramgarh, Ranchi, Khunti, Gumla, Simdega and West Singhbhum. Thunderstorms and lighting activity as well as strong winds with a speed of around 40 to 50 km per hour are being expected in these areas.
