Bhopal, April 27 -- Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has directed the development of a mining surveillance system utilising Artificial Intelligence (AI) to curb illegal mining, storage, and transportation activities. Under this initiative, Geo-Tagging of all 7,502 approved mines across the state has been completed, clearly demarcating mining areas. Satellite imagery and remote sensing technologies will be deployed to monitor illegal excavation and storage activities.
