DHANBAD, May 17 -- In the coming years, IIT-ISM would focus on research on artificial intelligence, hydrogen based energy, coal to gas, other advanced energy sources and environmental improvement, said Dr. SK Mishra the new director of the institute while talking to the media in Dhanbad on Thursday.He took over as director only on Wednesday.
He said that Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be helpful in health services, especially in the development of life-saving equipment and complex operations. However, he clarified that such equipment can never replace doctors. Right now we are at the initial stage of this and a lot more has to be done further so that good equipment can be made available at low cost.
