Bhopal, May 13 -- Fulfil the resolutions of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the 'Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan' (Water Ganga Conservation Campaign) was launched on March 30 under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. The campaign will conclude on Ganga Dussehra, June 30. This vital initiative, deeply connected to public life, includes the construction of new ponds, the restoration of old ponds, stepwells, and wells, and the cleaning of rivers. Conservation work is also being carried out at water sources and temples of historical, cultural, and religious importance.
