New Delhi, July 21 -- In a landmark development, the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Association on Sunday elected a new National executive body during its general body meeting. There are about 36 organised civil services and the IFS Association has made history by being the first civil service association to be led by an all-women executive team at the national level. This is a milestone in the journey towards gender equality and representation in the civil services, according to a Press statement by the association.
