Jamshedpur, April 17 -- In a major breakthrough, the police and paramilitary forces unearthed a hideout where Naxals set up an IED-making unit for carrying out subversive activities in the forest cover of West Singhbhum district.

The discovery of the IED-making unit marks a significant triumph for law enforcement agencies battling insurgency in the region. Situated in the dense forests of Hushipi under the Tonto thana area, which falls within the Kolhan forest division, the hideout was uncovered during a meticulously executed search operation conducted by the police and paramilitary forces on Monday evening.
