New Delhi, July 28 -- The Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Central Association has elected a new executive committee at its General Body Meeting held in the national Capital. Senior bureaucrat S Krishnan, a 1989-batch IAS officer from the Tamil Nadu cadre, currently serving as Union Secretary for Electronics & IT, has been elected as the new President of the association.

The newly constituted committee reflects a wide range of experience and geographic representation from various batches and cadres. Joining him in leadership roles are Taranikanti Sriram (IAS: 1992: TR), Director of LBSNAA aand A Anbarasu (IAS: 1996: UT), Principal Secretary (Home), Delhi Government, who have been chosen as Vice Presidents.
