India, Jan. 25 -- Driven by intense hunger, a top Pakistani terrorist commander walked straight into a death trap set by a joint team of security forces, leading to his elimination during an encounter inside a residential house in Parhetar village of Billawar tehsil in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district on Friday.

Before neutralising the terrorist commander identified by Jammu and Kashmir police as Usman alias Abu Maviya, from a close range, the crack team of the commandos disarmed him by snatching his M4 rifle in a virtual hand-to-hand combat.
