BRAHMAPUR, Nov. 15 -- A 24-year-old youth committed suicide after he was humiliated by villagers over his illicit relation with a minor girl. Though he was handed over to police and later, a settlement had been worked out where he was to marry the girl, he hung him in a tree near his village.
Bisikeshan Pradhan alias Lucky (24), son of Bansidhar Pradhan of Kumanda village under the Jagannathprasad police station was living at his uncle Dhoba Nayak's house at Kumutighai village under Buguda police limits in Ganjam district. Lucky was running a mobile phone shop in Karachuli panchayat.
