Chandigarh, May 12 -- Haryana Director General of Police Shatrujeet Kapur on Sunday said that the State's Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) has evolved into the backbone of a modern, scientific justice system. "It is no longer just a lab - it has emerged as the torchbearer and epicentre of a digital revolution in the pursuit of scientific justice," he said.
Highlighting key developments, the DGP said that in 2024, FSL implemented significant technological and administrative reforms, aligning itself with the upcoming three new criminal laws. "The crime investigation process and use of forensics is now faster, transparent, and credible, thereby strengthening the judicial system and public trust," he added.
