Shimla, March 20 -- A day after the body of Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (HPPCL) Chief Engineer Vimal Negi was recovered from Gobind Sagar Lake in Bilaspur, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Wednesday announced an inquiry into his death by an Additional Chief Secretary-level officer. However, the Opposition, led by former Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, demanded a probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), citing serious concerns over workplace pressure.
