Bhopal, Feb. 6 -- The Anuppur police have registered a case against a woman superintendent of a government-run hostel for allegedly assaulting more than 25 minor girls residing in the facility. The incident took place in Anuppur district, with authorities launching an investigation into the matter.

According to Kotma police station in-charge Sundaresh Maravi, the complaint was filed by the families of the victims, who alleged that the superintendent brutally assaulted the girls, all of whom are Class 7 students at a government school, on Sunday night.
