Ranchi, Feb. 26 -- Three days have passed since the accident in the under-construction tunnel of the Srisailam tunnel canal project in Nagarkurnool district of Telangana, but the chances of survival of the 8 trapped workers still seem very low. The rescue team is making continuous efforts, but no success has been achieved so far.
A team of 'Rat Miners' involved in the Silkyara tunnel rescue operation in Uttarakhand has been deployed to rescue the workers trapped in the tunnel. Apart from this, 584 skilled workers of Army, Navy, NDRF, SDRF and Singareni Collieries are engaged in this operation.
