Bhopal, May 14 -- Heavy storms and rainfall swept several parts of Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday, offering a temporary respite from the intense summer heat but also causing disruptions across various districts. The state capital Bhopal witnessed intense rainfall in the afternoon, with significant precipitation within just 30 minutes. Strong winds whipped up waves reaching 1-1.5 feet in the Upper Lake of Bhopal, while neighboring districts like Dhar, Ratlam, Raisen, and Vidisha also experienced substantial rainfall. Balaghat's Malajkhand recorded the highest rainfall, with over 1.25 inches of precipitation.
