Bhopal, May 6 -- Madhya Pradesh continued to experience heavy storms, hail, and rain on Monday, offering much-needed respite from the intense heat that had gripped the state. Hailstorms struck areas such as Shajapur, Neemuch, and Sehore, while strong winds uprooted a wedding tent in Guna. In Ashoknagar, a mobile tower collapsed in Vijaypur village at around 12:15 pm due to the powerful gusts.

Dust storms and rainfall affected several districts, including Bhopal, Gwalior, Mandsaur, Raisen, Vidisha, Ratlam, Bhind, Chhatarpur, Mauganj, Panna, and Khargone. Recorded rainfall included 5 mm in Raisen, 4 mm in Khajuraho, 3 mm in Gwalior-Satna, 2 mm in Guna-Naugaon, and 1 mm in Chhindwara.
