Shimla, July 7 -- Himachal Pradesh is bracing for another spell of intense monsoon activity, as the State Meteorological Department's Hydromet Division on Sunday issued a flash flood warning for 10 districts, along with an orange weather alert for eight districts on July 7 (Monday). The warning follows continuous rainfall across several regions and predictions of heavier downpours in the coming days.

According to the department, there is a moderate to high risk of flash floods in the districts of Shimla, Kangra, Solan, Kullu, Mandi, Hamirpur, Bilaspur, Sirmaur, Chamba, and Una over the next 24 hours.
