Bhopal, June 24 -- ntense monsoon rains have wreaked havoc across Madhya Pradesh, impacting at least 20 districts, with severe waterlogging, flood-like conditions, and major transport disruptions. Shivpuri, Guna, Sheopur, and Ashoknagar are among the worst-hit areas, while a red alert has been issued for Ujjain and an orange alert for Indore-Dewas due to an active cyclonic system.

In Guna district, nearly six inches of rain in just 12 hours led to widespread urban flooding. A truck loaded with gas cylinders became submerged under 10 feet of water at a railway underbridge on the Myana-Nai Sarai road.
