Ranchi, April 29 -- The Jharkhand High Court today stayed the removal order of Dr Rajkumar, Director of the State's largest medical college and hospital, the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS).
The court of Justice Deepak Roshan issued an immediate stay on the order and directed that notice be issued to the State government and others concerned, with instructions to file a reply by affidavit.
A detailed hearing of the case will be held on 6 May. The court observed that the dismissal order was stigmatic, which is against the law, and stated that the proper removal procedure should have been followed beforehand.
